Simpson Strong-Tie Adhesive Anchor Steel Screen Tubes are designed specifically to securely fasten a rod or other mechanical anchor to hollow base materials, along with the use of Simpson adhesives. These steel screen tubes contain the adhesive and prevent excess material from running into the void space in CMU, hollow brick or other masonry application. Simply fill the screen tube with the appropriate adhesive, insert the filled tube into the pre-drilled hole, slowly turn and insert the rod into the filled tube, and allow to cure according to the specific adhesive instructions.
